Derek and Kelsi might be one of the most adorable and all around wonderful couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. A few months ago, I did an engagement session giveaway and I asked the couples entering to tell me their engagement story. Derek entered to win and told the story of how he and Kelsi had taken a trip down the west coast in a retro travel trailer last Christmas and that’s when he popped the question. I loved all of the stories I got to read, but when I read theirs I knew that Kelsi and Derek were my kind of people.

We met for their session at the Cibolo Nature Center, and before we were even halfway through I was crossing my fingers and hoping that they would ask me to shoot their wedding. (Spoiler alert-they did) There was such a natural flow to their session, the kind of comfortable ease that comes when two people love each other and just know that their destinies are each other.
